Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't seen it, then. :)

Really, guys? Gah. Anyway:

The newest The Producers - the film version of the Broadway musical - was OK. The live musical itself was very funny. The original film from 1968, featuring Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, Dick Shawn, and a fantastic turn by Christopher Hewett (that's right,) was one of the funniest things in the history of ever.

Aside from the great turns by the supporting cast, there's just no way in heaven or hell to top Wilder and Mostel.

Naturally, I didn't see it  And I'm a theater buff.

ENT has both the Borg and the Ferengi - species treated by TNG as "never-before seen." (However, in keeping with the fine security traditions of the Enterprise-D, they were able to board the NX-01 Akiraprise)

Except even in VOY the Borg were reclassified as 'rumors' and you had the El-Aurian refugees showing up in 'Generations'.

The El-Aurians didn't really share with the UFP. Notice that Guinan had to share about the Borg only when they made first contact. Until then she seemed to want to keep it secret.

But that's only Guinan. They'd all have to be major pricks for not even one of them to bite the bullet and step forward with info about the cyborg zombies that just destroyed their civilization.

Not to mention, where did the rumors come from that intrigued the Hansen's?

Had they just escaped from the Borg when they were rescued by the Enterprise B? They were pretty near to Earth at the time, and Guinan did state previously that she wasn't there in person when her homeworld was destroyed.
