My sympathies, Reliant. Losing a pet can indeed be hard. :(

Sorry little bro....this is gonna sound shitty but at least for me, i'd rather lose certain aquaintences in life than a pet.

So, I'm back from my camping trip. Did the usual; swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and such. And also my annual skydive. This year I had the distinct pleasure to watch a real schmuck learn some humility. On the plane we jump from, you have both us amatures (jumping in tandum), and the singles (the guys that are certified). One of the singles was acting like a dick, making comments about us "weekenders" and whatnot. Well, as we land someone points up to him, and he's coming in in a VERY wide and fast spiral. On the last one when he SHOULD have flared his wings and landed, he tried for one more loop. Just past the airfield is a bunch of thorny bushes and some other foliage. Well, he overshot the field and couldn't turn in time, and thus came down in the trees and bushes. He wasn't hurt, but his rigging was completely screwed, caught in the branches and whatnot. They had to cut lines to get it out.

The best part.......it wasn't his. He rented it from the skydive company, who he now has to pay in full :laughroll:

Hello all. For those of you that still remember me, I'm still alive, at least for the moment! I haven't been on much in a long long time, and unfortunately won't be around much in the future. Starting May 6th I'll be taking a little vacation from the real world for somewhere between 2 and 5 years. I'm hoping for two, but who the hell knows.

I'll try to stay in contact with Jason, but that might be a bit difficult. Best wishes and I'm hoping to be back in time for Star Trek XII.

Live long and prosper.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Mark: I find a lot of pets far less guilty of assholery than humans. Hence why some humans rank higher on the expandability list for me.

Bryan, I'm really sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. Best of luck for the shorter one! We'll all probably be here, if Mikey hasn't gone to the retirement home at least

IDK, most animals produce bigger litters than humans. "Expendability," maybe.
