The Furious class dreadnought has been designed as an major improvement over the previous Repulse class. The weapons systems have been up-rated, the hull armour is of a much thicker quality plus the shielding is a general improvement. Each compartment is pressure independent, making hull breaches less of a problem. The fighter bay, slung underneath the Section just after the large nose, is capable of holding 20 assault craft of various types. It has been intended that the Terran Alliance Navy will decommission one of their Repulse classes, once its replacement Furious class of the same name is introduced.

I like the design. The color pattern is akin to WWI warships. Very cool.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

The colour scheme was the intention. Alliance ships tend to be grey or brown, drab looking affairs. in comparison to a Nishari vessel which is Bright yellows, or a Caalma vessel of deep blues.

I also thought of WWI paint schemes. I like the design - nose-heavy, where the important stuff should be.
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast
as Bull offed Custer

Most Terran alliance vessels have them not for practical purposes but because designers are very much keeping with nostalgic themes.
