Berengarian Dragons
I wasn't really sure where I should put this--in TOS, ENT, or General Trek Discussions. I finally decided to put it in ENT.
Being the dragonlover that I am, every time I watch "Bound" and hear T'Pol mention these dragons, I'm always irked that we never ever got to see them. And, for the remainder of the episode I'm annoyed that they wasted an hour with three sea-sick women seducing the crew when they could have spent it with the dragons. Though, I suppose they would have needed a two- or three-parter for any decent story concerning them, which I understand was one of Coto's plans for Season 5.
One question though... Does anyone else think 200 meters is a bit too big? The blue whale at its biggest is only 37! And, it needs the ocean to support its weight!

Well they certainly wouldnt be air born unless the planet is tiny and has very low gravity... in which case it would have bugger all atmosphere.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Berengarian Dragons
Indeed, 200 metres is completely unfeasable for "propper" dragons to exist.
If, however, we assume that "dragon" was just a name and not any real indication that they were like the dragons from human mythology, then it becomes understandable (though still unlikely, such a creature should be crushed under its own mass).

I think they mentioned either in TOS or Ent relating to these things that they both fly and breath fire, personally that sounds like they were based on Myhtological Dragons, though I agree with the above posts relating to size.
There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.

Maybe the flame projection uses hydrogen or some such, which could also be used to float them like a dirigible.

Re: Berengarian Dragons
I'm thinking that maybe there was a hiccup in T'Pol's translation. She mis-converted the Vulcan measurement system to the Human metric measurement system. Maybe her recent Trellium-D exposure is still affecting her performance somewhat?

Well, Vulcan's DO exagerate from time to time.

That T'pol screwed up her maths is the best answer I can come up with.

Or... they are 200 meters? It IS STar Trek, after all.

Aye, they undoubtedly live in a trans-dimensional state of quantum flux.

Re: Berengarian Dragons
When T'Pol mentioned the dragons, did anybody else think of the Fuolornis Fire Dragons, and Arthur and Fenchurch?
