Re: Gamma Mission Prep
My idea (from my story post) was: can we "borrow" the Defiant and Taran'atar for or Gamma Quadrant Adventure?

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Tsuki, I hope i handled your characters well. I couldn't remember or find what ranks they were or their full names so I just guessed.
Also, I think sending the Defiant with would be what Starfleet would do and sending a Jem'Hadar with just makes sense. We had a Tholian advisor in Tholian space, why not a Jem'Hadar one in Dominion space?
Yes yes I know copyrights, but do those really apply here?
Tsuki: yet another "I've got a bad feeling about this" moment for our intrepid crew?

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
MM&I: you did fine with the characters. Lorcan's an LC, and Devi is a Commander verging on Captaincy, though she's not the XO.
Uzume said she wanted in, so I threw her a cameo; I figured she could be a proxy character in engineering on the Ravage. She says hi to everyone who remembers, BTW.
Remember, Devi has some of Thompson's personality thanks to the mind-meld with San'dral.me,myself and I wrote:Tsuki: yet another "I've got a bad feeling about this" moment for our intrepid crew?

That's fine, the more the merrier.
I'll say "Hi" even though I didn't join until after she left, I remember reading some of her posts beforehand.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
They can be deployed as needed, maybe split one on each ship. The idea was for a non starfleet science team to present as indepentent observers, for subplot purposes, but, since they are scientists, you can use them, or deploy them as well. The subplot can still work.Teaos wrote:Mark: I'm doing the crew list (OMG almost done) and I was wondering about your scientist NPC's.
You say they are on the Paladin with you but the Paladin doesnt have any science equipment, it has sensors act but most of that falls under opps and the few things it does have is easily handled by my guy and a few other to voer the other shifts.
Not sure what you want to do about this, they could stay on the Paladin but they would really have very little to do there, you could put them on the Nebula ship or on the station we have. I presume you want to keep the main gut around since it seems you have some drama happening with him and you, what will his position be since he is under my guys deparment?
Also anyone else wanna add some more NPC's while I'm at it. Will probably have this all done by tomorrow and after that I wont be editing it again for awhile.

Teaos wrote:Ok an explanation for why this is taking so long (apart from me being lazy)
For the last 3 weeks when ever anyone has posted something important like a bio or stats I copy and posted them into a word file, I now have 15 pages worth of stuff to sort through and organise before posting it in the mission brief.
But now that I am sorting I am finding a few little issues.
Grundig and Mark, I believe you both called the CTO position on the Valkyire, I solved this by giving Grundig CTO and Mark Security. If you want it changed tell me.
Also Mark your character, Robert Simon Sinclair IV, was made to be captain of the Nova ship but one of my NPC's alsready is, you can demote your guy now a notch and have him be XO or something else.
Ok I am going to bed soon so am going to update the mission brief with what I have in the mission brief, its not quite done yet but I figure I'll let you see what I have.
I'm not posting the extented mission brief since it is still only half done, I need everything else done before I can do that.
Security is fine for Cix....actually fits the character best probebly. Sinclair was created at Blackstar's request, when s\he was supposed to be the XO on that ship, for drama purposes. I have no attachment to that character, so feel free to discard him, kill him, or reassign him as would be best for the RP.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
The Defiant is assigned to DS9 and while it goes off and does missions its primary job is to hang around there. Also, I think sending the Defiant with would be what Starfleet would do and sending a Jem'Hadar with just makes sense. We had a Tholian advisor in Tholian space, why not a Jem'Hadar one in Dominion space?
The whole idea of this mission is thata once we are through the wormhole there is no going back until the mission is done. There will be no reinforcements, no trade, the only communications is through the Dominion.
Thus the Defiant can't come with us. Also there is a limit on the size of our fleet.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
