Thanks for your advice Harry, and for taking the time to go into detail. This is reassuring. It's nice to hear that you worked it out without professional help. It does take two to tango. I just need to convince my girl that she should do more than just lay still while I sheepishly try to come on to her.

Thorin, are you starting at college soon? If so, congrats - hope you get into the right kinds of trouble!

Ugh, well this always confuses me, as I've just been to college and am now off to uni, but if college in the US is the same as university, then yes, assuming I get in. Though I've had some reasonably good news, in that I'm confident of at least going to a uni; my insurance uni has pretty low requirements now, and if I don't get that then I deserve to be a slob on the dole! 3 hours and 25 minutes til I find out, anyway.

YEAAAAAH!!! GOT IN!
I had to check early - couldn't resist, and as Manchester wanted AAA, I must have got at least AAB because they wouldn't have accepted anything lower!

AHHH cloud 9.

I'm already hungover but who gives a toss - I'm getting drunk all over again :D

Hooray! Congratulations :) When you graduate from the Academy, I'll have to start calling you 'sir' :)

Well done though, you've just bought yourself several more years of erratic eating, as I please boozing, daytime TV and horny women...oh yeah and studying too :)

To be honest, the world is a messed up place if it lets me (pretty much the slackest person around, in terms of work) get top grades in all my subjects

But hey - who's moaning!

My results don't officially come for another hour and a half, so I'll be going into college to find out exactly how things went. Then a nice piss up for the rest of today, I'm actually expecting, and intending for, the worst hang over of my life tomorrow

And thanks for the warm messages fellas!

Manchester, and it was my top choice, yes. Even though I already knew I got in this morning, I got my results confirmed today as AAA.
Just popped home to freshen up; now it's out on the lash

I've been informed that if my current cat, Timmy, dies then we can get a new kitten
I was annoyed becaue my parents said we wouldnt get another, and Timmy isnt really my cat, its the family's. this one will be mine and mine alone.

BTW: i'm sorta a mad cat person. i'd have 8 of the things if i could.

Randomly Star Trek Nemesis is playing on TV now. Star Trek is never played on TV here anymore.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
