Screw copyrights.I think Venator has already been used somewhere...
That goes well with the ship.OK, if Jormungandr is out, how about a more blunt representation of awesome violence from Norse mythology - the USS Mjollnir?

Actually, I had three years of Latin in my American public high school. They also offered up to 4 years of German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, and Kiswahili.
I thought so.Rochey wrote:That goes well with the ship.

Loki reminds me of a kids tv programme where a domestic dog is called Loki.

Mine was 4 years of German, French and Spanish but French got dropped this year. Between the French II and French III classes, they had maybe one class of 18 people.

Loki was only dangerous in an underhanded way, and Mithra was generally regarded as good guy (unless you were a demon.)Rochey wrote:USS Loki?

Valkyrie isn't bad, or how about we go further back for representations of ultimate destruction... the USS Tiamat, perhaps?

Tiamat has a nice ring to it.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Tiamat is also the name of the planet that made up the Earth, Moon, and asteroid belt in one theory. Usually it is associated with big things.
Loki doesn't work. The Federation wouldn't name something after a trickster, evilish deity. Valkyrie is nice but I think the Battleship is too big for Valkyrie. I still like Templar and Paladin the best for class and Twilight for name.

None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Alright, maybe we should hold a vote. Everyone put forward one suggestion, and I'll make up a poll.
