Cool, thanksTsukiyumi wrote:I don't know what positions are currently open, but when you find a place, I guess just post the character bio in here.Mark wrote:I'd really like to jump onto this next roleplay, but I'm need to know what positions are available. I'd really like to get a post as a tactical or security cheif on one of the Fed ships, as I had a brainstorm for an awsome character in the shower last night. But some of his backstory is gonna depend on my fisrt duty assignment. How can I find out which positions are open and once my character story is completed, who do I send it to or where do I post it?

Mark - I think I have science, engineering, and possibly ops open on the Daystrom.

I'll remain on Daystrom. Never know when a Cardassian might be helpful. Hopefully, my other character can take the D'Deridex warbird's command.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Do we have a tactical officer for the new battleship?

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
You might have your buddy - I think Monroe is creating a new char for sec/tac on the Daystrom.
*EDIT* for what it's worth, I would vote for Meatf***er for the new battleship, but the censorship would get tiresome, and I don't want to get Graham and Ian into any copyright infringement situations. Besides, considering the targets of the mission, maybe Soupf***er is more appropriate?

I like the name Twilight we talked about earlier.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

I think Twilight is good too.
Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Sec/Tac would would perfectly fit with some of my characters back story (especially for the BIG battleship), as my character will have several character traits to play with, (just a hint, a human child, raised on Vulcan, around Vulcans, by Vulcans. Remember how many resentments Spock had? And he was at least half Vulcan) but I could easily work Ops into the back story as well.
So, my first choice would be Tac/Sec for the Battleship
2nd would be Ops on the Daystrom.

How about a slightly more unusual name?
USS Shoggoth sounds nice, and fitting, somehow.

It sounds more like a drink to me. "Yes, waiter can I get two Martini's and and a Shoggoth on the rocks?"shran wrote:How about a slightly more unusual name?

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
USS Relentless
or
USS Armageddon
or
USS Tiamat
Something "tough" sounding without being unrealistic

I imagine the following in the term of shoggoth: a Lovecraftian monster from the Ctulhu Mythos. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoggoth
