Mirror The Next Generation
From a thread in the Voyager forum, how would, assuming DS9's Mirror Universe didn't happen, the Mirror TNG Enterprise-D, Captain Picard and the entire crew be compared to that of the real TNG?

Re: Mirror The Next Generation
That'd be an interesting one. Picard as an evil war-monger, maybe?

There's a novel on this very topic, written before the DS9 epiodes - "Dark Mirror" I think. I haven't read it, but it's apparently pretty good.

And Enterprise was outfitted with weapons that the Federation in our universe never even heard of.Cpl Kendall wrote:It was good, Worf was a slave. Seconded. It's my preferred take on the mirror-verse, actually.
We see a glimpse of it in the new DSN novel 'Fearful Symmetry', where Sisko meets up with 'Fleet Captain Sisko', from a reality where the Terran Ampire never fell.

I believe it was even compared to being a dreadnaught ship. I think I actually have the book on hand.Mark wrote:And Enterprise was outfitted with weapons that the Federation in our universe never even heard of.Cpl Kendall wrote:It was good, Worf was a slave. Re: Mirror The Next Generation
I remember really liking that book. It seems a WHOLE lot more likely than the way it was portrayed in DS9. But, I suppose since their are supposed to be an infinite number of parallell universes, they could both exist.

Yeah, I've often wondered what the mirror universe (non-goatee) version of myself would be like.

Re: Mirror The Next Generation
As screwed up as I am, my mirror counterpart there for would probably be pretty normal, aside from an explosively violent temper (I'm rather mellow, and personally detest violence for anything other than self defense), and a prude. Therefore, my mirror self is most likely dead already, or wishes he wasTsukiyumi wrote:Yeah, I've often wondered what the mirror universe (non-goatee) version of myself would be like.

Re: Mirror The Next Generation
The Entire ALpha Quadrant and most of the Beta Quadrant could be conquered by Mirror TNG time. I see the Terran Empire becoming like the Galactic Empire.
Re: Mirror The Next Generation
Likely making a foothold in the Delta and Gamma Quadrents as well, if the Borg are now "isolationists" and the Dominion "peaceful". Could come to rule most of our galaxy, I have to agree. Oh, I forgot about the Telaxian Empire and the Ocampan ConglomerateSuperSaiyaMan12 wrote:The Entire ALpha Quadrant and most of the Beta Quadrant could be conquered by Mirror TNG time. Re: Mirror The Next Generation
And pumping out capital ships like the Galaxy-class a dime a dozen. I mean, Federation originally orders 12, the original order for the Terran Empire would have to be 150.
