Re: Galaxy Class Capability
Thanks for all of the input.
I like the idea of a "Lakota style" refit of the Galaxy class - maybe something like we saw in the All Good Things episode. Throw in a quantum torpedo turret and some pulse phaser cannons and you would have a hell of a ship. Powerful and effective yet classic - just like the Lakota.

On top of that, throw a small, independant warp core on the saucer with small retractable nacelles, (like the Promie), and you could DOUBLE the combat effectiveness of that ship, and also allow for a saucer seperation to make sense.acstull wrote:Thanks for all of the input.

Paint on some ablative armor, and she could stand against anything short of a Soverign class

Does no one here realise that all this stuff resources...
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Galaxy Class Capability
Even worse, Blackstar, Deep, Tsu, Rochey, and Teaos all agreeing. I can't imagine what that would be a sign of.

Yeah, that's one thing we're safe from. I can't see that happening until hell freezes over, pigs develop wings, Starfleet gains inteligence, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse stop by my house to ask for directions.
