Re: Favourite Janeway Moment
Diplomat: "Captain, don't you think that's excessive?"
Janeway: "You picked a bad time to have second thoughts, Ambassador."
Diplomat: "I want them defeated, but...but this is genocide."
Janeway: "Defeat? Genocide? Why quibble with semantics?"
From one of my favorite trek episodes VOY: Living witness.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Typical Janeway.

Yeah, I think Janeway was the most accurate thing in the simulation.Rochey wrote:Typical Janeway.

Indeed, I started a Living Witness appreciation thread a while back. Possibly the most fun I've had watching Voyager (when not daydreaming about 7of9 )

I have to say, my respect for Q2 went up dramatically when he blinked away all of her clothes.Captain Picard's Hair wrote:Indeed, I started a Living Witness appreciation thread a while back. Possibly the most fun I've had watching Voyager (when not daydreaming about 7of9 )

Indeed - a great episode, thanks both to Picardo and the far more competent Voyager portrayed. Reminiscent of YE in that respect.Captain Picard's Hair wrote:Indeed, I started a Living Witness appreciation thread a while back.

I cannot remember if it was Unimatrix Zero or Dark Frontier.

She really said that? If so, definately Janeway at her finest. Hypocritical and delusional at the same time.acstull wrote:The scene with the Borg queen when Janeway says, "I don't negotiate with Borg!"

So many hate forming moments, so little time.
Then again they did give us 7o9 so it wasn't all bad.

Well after their last negotiations went down the tube she might be wise not to make the same mistake twice.Captain Seafort wrote:She really said that? If so, definately Janeway at her finest. Re: Favourite Janeway Moment
It was actually, "I don't compromise with Borg" in the Unimatrix Zero episode. I liked it because she actually made a threat and meant it.

Of course, she'll ally herself with them and share tech, just not compromise...
