I think 40K is the only thing that comes anywhere near your level in that respect. Ten millenia of unending war in which whole planets are wiped out without a second thought and genocide is committed on a daily basis.

I love the peace and quite, but a Black Crusade now and then is a good way to keep people on their toes. And you never know, one day we might really go at it hehehehehehehe!!! :happydevil:

You might want to get rid of Abbadon "I screw up every war I start" the Despoiler first.

Very true. Better to have someone who keeps starting wars that fail - in order to start up the next one - than someone who only wages war once and wins.

But it's Chaos. The minions of the Dark Gods would have plenty of reason to fight amongst each other. Slaanesh and Khorne are both opposed to each other. Nurgle is the god of decay, and Tzeentch is the Lord of Change (Obama?), so that even if they were to gain dominion of the galaxy, they would seek to destroy their own regimes.

And soon burn out the supply of souls in the galaxy which would take another 8 million years to repopulate. Sorry, don't think so. Besides, that would be turning away from the glory of the Holy God-Emperor and what is worth living for if we cannot serve him? Are you turning from the Emperor?

Not at all. Merely pointing out that were the Archenemy to succeed in its attempt to rule the galaxy, there would still be war.

But it would be short lived war. Meaningless in the end as only the "neverending" of war can bring the Glory the Emperor wishes of us.

The best part of this forum is watching the threads of conversations lead off into parts unkown, "Boldy going where no one has gone before".
