Not far, it is ment for theory as we never truely saw the war. Nor do we know how it ended or if in another time line the whole of starfleet would join with the klingons and launch a massive war.

But you got to admit we're having alot of fun in this one.

I bet it is for a Commisar like your self. Maybe we shall bring about the age of the god-emperor and build a new imperium, one that is stronger and more flexible then the first. All races serving the federation, no chaos, no alien enemies, just one federation above all.

Am I the only one here who thinks it would be highly entertaining to see the Federation turn into a highly superstitious xenocidal dictatorship?
Hell, they already use warp engines.

But its to far different, i would think its possible though for that good guy thing to die off and be replaced by a very angry starfleet who is tired of everyone attacking them.

I just want to see the federation go on the rampage. Bajor joined UFP, so did the cardis, even the klingons did so add all of that together and bring out some really hard liner rearmament types in the government and you'd have a huge population gearing for war! They we're like that before so lets see it again. And then, all that stuff I was talking about earlier could occur.

Its not the mirror, its the future. Starfleet is returning to its combat roots. It will happen, it will take time but it will happen.

Maybe not. Relations with the Klingons are good the Romulans are not much of a threat anymore. Dominion is at peace. Whats left to hurt us?

Just minor enemies which we can easily handle. We may go back to the peaceful starfleet with just a few combat ships.

I for one dont think so. The romulans aren't out of the picture, just delayed. The Breen are still around, and there are other smaller but still powerful races out there. The federation is going to grow after the dominion war, so people will be fearful of that growth.
