Sisko. He likes baseball.

Picard. The crew, the ship were pretty awesome.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

There is only KIRK! The only being alive to make the Klingons think twice about starting a war!

Even if you were a redshirt, you were mourned. Kirk remembered your name. He recriminated himself.

Amen to that. I'd rather die for Kirk then serve under Janeway.

Went the first two seasons without losing a single crewmember. Never lost a crew member to his stupidity or to show how dangerous a situation is. That's the single best record in Trek I believe.Rochey wrote:

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

But he did tend to put them in needlessly dangerous situations for no reason at all. Just dumb luck no one died.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Indeed. And his track record of competance has been.....varying, to put it kindly.

He brought the Vulcans, Andorians, humans and Tellarites together. He revealed Sarek's true teachings and brought down the High Command.

He allowed millions of people to die because he failed high school biology and doesnt know what the hell evolution is.
He sent people into needlessly dangerous situations.
He's a racist.
He's a sh*t explorer which is what he was supposed to be.

You can add "hypocrite" to that list, too.

I don't blame Archer though, he was just a victim of the times. He should have been leading a attack squadron or patroling the border. Not jumping around known and unknown space hoping for the best. Besides, he has two of the best looking women in trek with him. That has to count for something.

That's odd...I don't remember Jadzia or Ezri being on EnterpriseDeepcrush wrote:I don't blame Archer though, he was just a victim of the times. They were on at different times so they don't count.
