Damn straight. It'd be a shame to let a universe that rich in background and originality die.

Agreed. I'm sure someone like WizKids would pick it up. They could probably turn the franchise into mega-bucks.

By the way Mikey if you were thnking about getting into 40K on the tabletop now would be the time to get the main rulebook. It'll give you the maximum time before GW comes up with another edition.

Well the sarcasm about GW is grounded in reality. They do make a good product. But they will almost certainly hit you up for another rulebook after 3-5 years. Less frequently than that with the codex though.Mikey wrote:Please allow me my sarcastic digs, thank you.

Codex normally change every 3 years, the rule books between 5 and 6 years apart.

Eh, but the thing about Third parties - especially ones that are allready hugley popular - is that they have a nasty habit of ripping the soul out of a franchise, or doing a 4Kids and removing all the lovley gorey bits and swearing. Hrm.Mikey wrote:Agreed. I'm sure someone like WizKids would pick it up. They could probably turn the franchise into mega-bucks.

WizKids did OK with Shadowrun, IMHO.Jabber Swarky wrote:Eh, but the thing about Third parties - especially ones that are allready hugley popular - is that they have a nasty habit of ripping the soul out of a franchise, or doing a 4Kids and removing all the lovley gorey bits and swearing. Hrm.
