I'll post tonight. I've just been trying to work some plot points out in my head and organise that write up.

Ok I edited the mission brief with a few bits and pieces but it was really hard to work out what was canon for our ship and what wasnt.

I'm gonna make another thread that will be for you all to post offical stuff. So anything that gets posted in there I edit into the mission brief. Anything we need to work out will happen here and anything you guys want edited about profiles and ships can go in the new thread and then I'll put it into mission brief. I want to have it so the mission brief is essental a quick reference for us, Anything that needs to be known can quickly be looked up there.

Now I have got this sorted I'll probably post in like an hour in the mission thread.

Posted. W'll start the battle in one or two days depending on weather anyone wants to get one last prep post in.

Ok we need to work out how this is going to be played out so this battle doesnt get messy.

To my knowledge we are split into several groups.

Teaos, Mikey, Thorin and Darel on the Daystrom. Blackstar starts off with us but will launch quickly with hir fighter and then be on her own.

Rochey and Monroe are both on the flagship. Since Rochey is AWOL for a few week I'll be handling some stuff with that fleet which I'll get to in a moment.

The Flagship strike force and the one the Daystrom geads up will blast into the enemy lines first thing letting the Dakota and her ships get behind the enemy lines and land Monroe and the land army on the surface. From there Monroe and do his thing and the Dakota and her ships will basicaly be NPC's unles Rochey comes back. I imagin they will be running interfence with the enemy fleet and maybe be giving air support to Monroe.

Tsu and MMI are in the group taking care of the platforms. Not really sure what they are planning but looking foward to seeing it

Since this will be hard with all of us just giving our views on this battle I think it will work better if I be the bad guy.

Since my guy has very little to do in battle apart from look out for supspace weapons which Mikey and Thorin and Have him do I think I'll be the enemy.

So as the battle happens I'll be writting as the enemy fleet to make this more interactive and less one sided. I already have a few ideas for what I can do.

Do you think it would be possible to make this Brotherhood thing a little bigger? I mean yes we wipe out their fleet and such in this mission, but they strike me as a group that would keep coming back. I have a half-formed idea in my head about Cmdr Lewis getting a classified communique from one of his friends at SI about them...and maybe S31. (I'm trying to develop a S31/Brotherhood connection here...perhaps something that would lead to the end of S31). Yes? No? Good Idea? Bad Idea? Should I work on it and get back to you?

Today or tomorrow, I'm going to try and get a "prep" post up involving Rochey and the Dakota - I'd like to foreshadow a way of somehow uniting or correlating the two ships together for something important - even though we're in separate task groups, we are all from the same ship initially, and form the same RPG! And, of course, we all know that detailed plans and intentions only last until the first shot is fired. I think we can all agree that the Daystrom should be a hero ship, after all.

The way I see it the Brotherhoods fleet is about 50% bigger than ours. But since theres is less advanced we have the advantage.

They also have the subspace weapons that can knock out a capital ship in one go and the platforms which ties up another wing of our fleet.

The Ground battle is heavily in their favor.

So I dont see the need to give them to much more of an advantage, They already know we're coming and will have an ambush ready and they are fighting in home turf.

After we beat them here I imagin there would be reminants of the Brotherhood around. This wont destroy them out right, just destroy their chance of inflicting serious trouble in the area.

I would also suggest trying to avoid section 31. We had them in before and it just made things really weird.

Yeah I think we're in for one tough fight as is.

There's bound to be people left over. I think we tied the Fifth Collumn to them too so there's bound to be sleeper cells and long duration missions spread out over the sector.

I was going to suggest maybe S31 is actually helping supply/organize the Brotherhood and cmdr. lewis and others (m'real if shi's/she's interested, other npcs from SI) use it to force S31 into the open. After all, S31 claims it is its duty to protect the Fed. from threats they (the Fed. @ large) don't know about yet, like insurgency. What better way to force someone to prepare then to put them in the situation and force the issue (that seems to be S31s thinking anyway)? Just a thought, we don't have to.

Red Alert. All hands - battlestations.
What the frak? I thought we had more time to get our pre-battle posts in. I actually had an idea that I haven't even had time to discuss with Mikey yet

BTW, Teaos - I think you have the stats for the Shadow Fox, and all my OC's, for the canon thread - I've got Grr'lek, Van Pelt, and Friedman on bridge shifts, and Carson and Taylor on the flight deck.
