What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Yes, marrow manufactures red blood cells. How exactly can that alter your genome? Even if the marrow were somehow mutated or altered to make blood cells with different DNA, how would that affect the genome of the rest of your body?

I have a bit of French blood - as well as English. If that's not bad enough, I'm a bit more than half Irish. Even my other Eastern European ancestors wouldn't get along too well - Polish and Ukrainian! Maybe a few guys in my past decided it would be easier to drive their rivals insane with their women rather than waste time with bayonets.
