So... if a sheet of paper was only one molecule thick, would we be able to see it?

Mythbusters tried it, it took a giant piece of paper so big they needed a hanger used for blimps to fit it in. With some difficulty they were able to fold it 11 times, but I don't think any of us have those kinds of resources
