No-one knows. The Quarians have never left their encounter suits since the Geth exiled them from their homeworld. Many believe they require the encounter suits for the hostile radiation environments on the older vessels of the Migrant Fleet (the last Nomadic fleet of the Quarians, its bloody massive. but second hand tech). Some ships are over 300 years old, still around from the original exodus.
Some think they are a amalgamation of biology and machine. Most, and this is accepted belief, think they are environment suits to fit their physiology. it also doubles as battle armour. Quarians are not that capable in combat, but due to their need to maintain the Migrant fleet, they are brilliant engineers.

EDIT: just had a look at them suits, and they are worn outside of the migrant fleet because the Quarians have virtually no immune system. They would die if a microbe went up their nose. they can only remove the Protective suit on their own ships, where the Atmosphere is sterile of all micro-organisms.

Image Here we have a Salarian, a rather evil looking one at that.

Unfortunately she's not a sexual animal. she'd be deconstructing your toaster then putting it back together in 5 minutes, then uprating the efficiency by several hundred percent.

You can never have too much effeciency in a toaster.
As for the robot, she can dismantle my toaster any day.

They're the only bots here though. MSN [bot] sometimes pops in but not often.

Well, I'm chaparoning a Middle School Field trip tomorrow, gotta get up at four. So see everyone sometime.
BTW, its for a band competition; my brother is in it, so I want to go help watch the kids, keep them out of trouble.
And go to SIx Flags afterwards. :)
Bye bye.

You were there too? Which school? Did you perform @ Helen Fort MS? My band was there Friday too. How'd they do? Oh yes, which Six Flags? We were at Great Adventure NJ.

Which Six Flags? The only one we have here in Texas anymore is the one in San Antonio, after they closed and demolished AstroWorld. :x

Six Flags Great Adventure? That's like 20 minutes' drive from my house. Did you ride Kingda Kaa? I found it to be just as awesomas advertised.

What is that? A forty second ride? It looks cool, no doubt, but I remember Ninja and Revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and I still prefer longer, endurance coasters, personally.
