Good times...
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: The Random Thread
I LOVE me some turkey! My mother-in-law makes a 40-pound bird for Thanksgiving every year. No, that's not a typo - a 40-lb. turkey.
Did you know that Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national symbol over the bald eagle?

And, yes, I did. Considering the intelligence level of the average American, I think it would've been more appropriate...
Stitch- I like turkey, and Turkish food, but not Turkey the country. Pretty strange, huh?

Well, we're kind of at the mercy of whatever the largest one is when slaughtering time comes around. Sometimes we get a 41- or 42-pounder; other times we have to make do with a measly 36-pounder.

Re: The Random Thread
Chicken is far more popular than turkey is here too, except at holidays (our Thanksgiving especially.) However, things like ground turkey, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, etc. are gaining in popularity because of the lean-ness and relatively healthy nature of turkey. Plus, it has a distinctive flavor from chicken.
Truth to tell, I prefer duck.

Duck is too greasy for me... and cute. I can't eat an animal I consider cute.
