If thats too expensive try drinking Dutch Gold, 8 cans (500mls) for Euro8, got me througth my tight times. Always lots of offers on in Tesco. Bavaria is p*ss but even cheaper I beleave but then again I live in Rocheystan so things are different.
NOTE: Always drink sensibly,

Still talking about alcohal...
If we started a beer thread (no, please don't do it) it would probably stay on topic for eternity.

That is most likely true. Until I start talking about Absinthe, that is. :)

Absinthe

A couple times now. It's quite different from other alcohols; it's got a serious kick. I probably should've diluted it like they suggest instead of shooting it straight...

Then again, I was the only guy brave (stubborn is more likely) enough to take a shot of Everclear, so my standard for "rough" is probably a bit different that most people's. I find good bourbon to be rather smooth by comparison.

See, I feel that you should enjoy alcohal, not gulp it down.

I usually only take shots when I'm out, then drink water or soda the rest of the time. I drink mainly for the painkilling properties, as I have trouble taking pills.

Why do you have trouble taking pills? Is it a sensitive gag reflex?

Nailed it, stitch. It's a total pain in the ass, but I still have to take one or two pain pills daily. Without alcohol, that would be five or six.

Bourbon is the height of alcohol AFAIC, but I have to say that Everclear is like well water compared to Slivowicz.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I noticed that myself. I hope he's okay, but I imagine it's just personal stuff.

I've had absinthe, it was so strong it was technically illegal, my friend's brother brought it back to the UK from Ibiza. Yeah, about 4 of us shared a litre bottle. Considering it was about 80% we were *pretty* wrecked

And I'm pretty sure I just failed maths. Oh well, at least I won't get in debt at uni if I'm not going

He mentioned a few weeks ago that he'd be off doing stuff, presumably with the military.
