I learn all my american slang from TV.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

What the hell school kind of do you teach at?
I've broken up fights before, but this sounds like it was a freaking riot.
It's a New Jersey thing. Kids there all think they're gangsters or mafiosos.

Oops: mistake, saw NJ mentioned in a side article. Nevermind.
Watch it. We don't all think like that here in New Jersey. Some of us actually live it. :P You don't see me calling someone a frutas just because he's from CA, do you?

That bar is about 25 minutes from my house, BTW.

And REAL Jersey girls would have much bigger hair and an IROC Camaro parked nearby.

So they were racists? Glad they got arrested.
Nah, the term is a hold-over. Now it's just slang for "white".

Well, I use "cracker" as more than a holdover. I'm about as "white" as you get, but these kids are among the most undiverse population you're going to see up north. 98% of the school is white, and our minority populations are so blended in with the middle to upper-middle class white demographic that is so prevalent in suburban/rural Connecticut. So when I say crackers, I don't mean racist, exactly, but about as white bread as you'll get.

Oh and met the girlfriend's family today. Fun time. Her family's yard is adjacent to their grandfather, cousin, and uncle's houses, so it's basically a family compound with shared land and fun golf carts to go inbetween them. Beautiful landscaping, outdoor kitchen (with a 5-tap keggerator, I might add), and a few inground pools, topped off with a bocce court, horseshoe pit, and numerous patios make for a pretty amazing time. This oughta be a fun summer.

If you don't compromise and settle with this one, I'll e-bitchslap you every day for a very long time. I really will.
