Seriously, this has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Sadly, no. I remember finding out about this a couple years ago (this is rather old, but still hilarious) somewhere else, and their website verified that it was all serious. They even tried to get it played on MTV, and blamed the station's "liberal bias" when they didn't (I guess the fact that the song sucked was lost on them).
I'll try to dig up the article I originaly found this on, though it may take a while (ie, a couple days).

Well, I'd have to guess that it didn't get airtime due to both the fact that it sucked AND the fact htat it's inaccurate.

Though, I will admit, France is wrong in general, and I wanted to sock Cindy Sheehan in the face every time I saw her...
