The Florida DNC has apparently decided against sponsoring their own re-vote, and I guess Dean will have to decide what to do; he has laready said that since the penalties for changing the primary were well-established, he wouldn't be changing the admissability of Florida's delegates. I haven't yet heard what Michigan's deciision was.

Michigan is still trying to find something that all parties can agree on. I am doubtful though. It would hurt Obama to have a recount so it would be smart for the Obama camp to disagree with it for as long as possible.
For some reason states that NAFTA is one of the biggest concerns vote for Clinton who practically was the architect of NAFTA... *sigh*

Her husband introduced the policy, and now, it's a concern for her? What a load of crap. I'm disgusted that the race is so close this far in...

Actually, the best scenario for Obama would seem to be if they agreed to go to a caucus format - he seems to do rather well in those.Monroe wrote:Michigan is still trying to find something that all parties can agree on. This is true Hillary seems to have the "job and kids" democrats and Obama has the jumping up and down set wrapped up.Mikey wrote:Monroe wrote:

With Hillary positioned to win Pennsylvania it's going to come down to the superdelegates. Obama will try to play is small lead up as "the will of the people" which, granted, it sort of is. But Hillary knows these people better I imagine. The DNC will be exciting.

One plus for Obama: Michigan has decided to just stnad pat and take their lumps. Which is fair, as both the Michigan and Florida DC's knew what the penalties were for advancing their primaries.

Watch out, you might hurt someone's feelings.Monroe wrote:...people are just too sensitive.
I think it's about time we started having open, honest discussions about all of these issues. No one slammed Oprah when she addressed racial issues the same way a year or two ago. Though, they did slam Bill Cosby for it.

Well that's because Bill Cosby slammed NCAA which is like totally uncool and stuff.
Good news for Obama: Richardson, having two cabinent posts with Bill Clinton threw in his support for the Illinois senator. This is great news since Richardson unlke Dodd which never rose above 0% had a backing and many of Clinton's people supported Richardson. Also the gov's got a way with words being a former U.N. ambassador. Which having someone who's main message was, "Give Peace a Chance." is exactly what Obama needs to get people for stop slamming him over the race issue.

so I watched the endoresment speech: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y62jhStuawA
I thought it was really good. Richardson is a good speaker and I got goose bumps. Its awesome seeing a truely America team organizing on Obama's side. I'm thinking Richardson would make a great Secretary of State since he's got a lot of Diplomacy experience. He's got Hagel for Secretary of Defense and Dodd's good guy too who supports him.
Good leaders surround themselves with greatly skilled people and he's really doing a great job with that.
