Death on the Nile: even though I guessed the ending early on, it was quite enjoyable overall. Good twists and turns and another feather in the many caps of Kenneth Branagh!

Re: Today I Watched...
Yup, I really enjoyed that one. Yesterday I saw:
Umma (Mother)
Not that great, didn't really seem to ever get going. Promised a lot and then just sort of petered out.
Morbius
Another that wasn't really that good. Action was just too fast to actually see what was going on. Even the bits they slowed down didn't really have much point.
Ambulance
Documents the increasingly desperate attempts of a pair of bank robbers to escape from the police in a stolen ambulance around LA.
This was actually much better than I thought it was going to be. Really entertaining.
The Nan Movie
A very very British offering, this one. Based on a comedy character from Catherine Tate's British TV series. She plays the eponymous Nan (Grandmother).
You will know Catherine Tate from Doctor Who's Donna Noble. Typical OAP, doesn't care what she says to who:

Moonfall: I know Graham would have love/hated this super stinker of a mish-mash disaster-film jumble of Independence Day+Abyss+2012+Don't Look Up+++++...all it was missing was a sharknado during the ocean footage...wow...so bad...fun but baaaad!!!

Re: Today I Watched...
I finished Buffy the Vampire Slayer the Series. I have been meaning to do this for a long time. I enjoyed it when it came out but missed alot when first aired.
I also missed the last few seasons as a whole due to my early Navy life (no cable, out on deployment, long days).
It's still good. It does hit hard on the 90's nostalgia.

Definitely. Plenty of good lines. Especially now with it fresh in my head.
Debating whether to jump onto Angel now. That series I never watched. But I have to finish Reacher and Discovery S4.
Also been sitting on the last season of Modern Family.

It took a season for me to appreciate Angel. Season 1 was a bit of a slog, but after that, quite enjoyable.

Good to know. After watching Buffy one thing I did notice, was the relationship between Buffy and Angel wasn't that great. Angel was kinda boring honestly. Spike worked better IMO.
I do remember reading the actor who played Xander said as much too. Though from what I remember that actor had a similar path like Jennifer Lien (Kes).

I could see doing a Buffy run, but I never really got into Angel.

My fella remembered another awesome Buffy quote:

Re: Today I Watched...
Eternals: finally watched this...I had enjoyed the previous Chloe Zhao work "Nomandland", so was hoping for something special...well, it was especially long and boring.
I'm no fan of flip-flopping through time to make points and get around to plot development...all of which was desperately needed earlier and linear. What a mess!
Fans of the comic version I'm sure enjoyed this, but sadly, I'd like to ask Disney for my 3 hrs back!

It was well worth it to look at Gemma Chan for a few hours
Then again I could just watch Humans.

Re: Today I Watched...
Just watching a Netflix movie called "The Adam Project". Ryan Reynolds. Lots of typical Reynolds style quips and in a time travel meet your younger self sci-fi flic. Decent enough to watch. Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo are also in it. Get the popcorn out and enjoy the mad ride. Don't expect it to answer any questions about how time travel could / should / would work, it's not that sort of movie.
