Watched episode 1: no spoilers here...
I found the animation harsh and unpleasing to watch...the jist is to be more like a 'comic' I guess?
Editing was jerky and rushed, trying to hit all the similar points from 'the original' footage, in a much shorter time frame (30ish mins).
Story idea was interesting, and hopefully the other episodes will follow suit.
Overall felt like a moneygrab by Marvel/House of Mouse, to try to prepare film goers for the Dr. Strange sequel that deals with the multiverse.
Will watch another and hope for improvement!

Yeah, I fucking LOVE Captain Carter. I think I'm in love with her. Just so cool seeing her kicking Nazi ass like she did.

Episode two was a bit better, but still not for me overall.

Eh, fair enough. I saw it mostly as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. The tribute at the end got me a little teary-eyed, not gonna lie.

Episode four was too dark for me. That ending... yeesh! it was a well-constructed episode, but not my taste overall.

I got a feeling that this isn't like the "What if...?" comics but, rather a kind of connected universe.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 8:42 pm Episode four was too dark for me. That ending... yeesh! it was a well-constructed episode, but not my taste overall.

Some of them maybe, but the Collector had Rogers' shield in his collection and not Captain Carter's. As for me? It's the worst episode by far. I'm getting to the point in my life where I'm hating downer endings.Nutso wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 2:07 amI got a feeling that this isn't like the "What if...?" comics but, rather a kind of connected universe.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 8:42 pm Episode four was too dark for me. Despite not liking this art style, I could feel the emotions from the characters, thanks to Cumberbatch's performance. This was the best episode by far, IMO.
