Well, I'm certainly not here to wreck anyone's plans... and I don't really formulate any posts until I actually sit down to write them, so I have no idea what my next one will be until I see what your response to me is.

*Edit* OK, never mind. I'm still not sure how to play htat. If I'm being offered a choice between Rochey and M'real, I guess I'd have to choose... Mikey.

....hmm...what to do next....I expect M'Real would want a conversation with me, Cardassian heratige and with the war. Other than that, I'll stick to calibrations and poking my nose into stuff i shouldn't ^^

Mikey has choosen wisely.

I didn't anticipate the possibility of what he did there. But it actually works better then the plan I put together. I just need someone to make a minor post.

Glad I could help. I wasn't sure what you were looking for, so I tried to play it in character while leaving enough doors open for everyone.

PS - does that mean I found the Grail?

Trying to claim credit for this new security system is probably a very bad idea.
Rochey has Munro, and all the communications and security personel who implemented the system, to back him up. They'd have known the plan was coming from those two. So it'd be the word of someone who we already know to have interfered with our systems against two loyal officers and a bunch of other crewmen. When the Captain finds this out, he'll know for sure that you're up to something, and any chance of being given access to the communications systems is rendered virtualy non-existant.
With the knowledge that you're definitely up to something, it's possible that I may be allowed go even further when it comes to keeping an eye on you, and I seriously doubt you'd like me having Munro put surveilance devices in your quarters and your runabout.

True. I think your best bet is at most claiming to be a willing participant, even to the point of saying how it would help your interests.

You'd want to interview Munro, wouldn't you? He was on the away mission, as well. Also, there's the whole thing about him shooting one of the ensigns which I expect M'Real would be rather interested in finding out more about.

Yes, he did. But I was the one who ordered Blackstar to be captured, so I'd have the ultimate culpability for that.

Anyway, I've skipped ahead a bit to just before the meeting the next morning. I had an idea I wanted to hurry up and get out.
I figured, since quite a bit has come up about the communications, that we should bring in the previously non-existant head of communications, and I figured that I had a perfect oppurtunity to get him on my side, too. M'Real is going to have her work cut out for her.
