Switz kids mom got rear-ended last Friday, however since two of them are EMTs she got the gold treatment from the ambulance crew.

Please understand that it is only due to the utmost respect I've had for the members of this board (minus Chakat) that I will be refraining from making a "_____'s mom got rear-ended" joke and simply wish everyone involved a speedy recovery (if any recovery is required)
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Unlike the main site I have to activate the snow on the forum. I was away so it didn't happen

At this point it feels churlish to point out that you forgot to activate the music on the main site. I wouldn't say anything, but I miss the people who always email me to complain that it's annoying and over the top. Idiots, it's like they don't realise that it's supposed to be!

Back in the day it was more the fact we couldn’t subtly browse or check the site with out people knowing. Now my phones always on mute so it’s not an issue.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

The music is still there, I suspect that the browsers are preventing it from auto playing.

I usually go directly to the forum page anyway but I just checked the main page. The music played one through then stopped. (latest FF, for the record)IanKennedy wrote:The music is still there, I suspect that the browsers are preventing it from auto playing.

On the main page, and during the holiday season. It's understandable to have missed it.Angharrad wrote:There's music?Graham Kennedy wrote:At this point it feels churlish to point out that you forgot to activate the music on the main site. Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
As usual the store closes for Christmas and New Years day; since both fall on one of my work days this year it's two shorter weeks than usual in a row for me (my usual work week having four days). Also got the customary end of year/xmas bonus from my boss.
Otherwise, I'm trying something different to mitigate wrist fatigue and ache that seems related to frequent PC use. It'll take a bit of getting used to the Logitech thumb trackball, having used a regular mouse for years. Hopefully though it proves more comfortable.
