I loved it.
Sure, there were some hiccups here and there-UNIT channeling the keystone Cops, for instance-but by and large? I loved it. Capaldi fucking NAILED it. Him on the guitar? I think we've got the beginnings of a band. The Deadly Doctors?
Hell, I'm not a huge fan of River Song, but I was genuinely moved by her and the Doc at the Singing Towers.And Clara! Good god, they made me care beyond, "Thank god she's dead!" And Heaven Sent was one of the best damned episodes of New Who. Period. It's up there with Empty Child/Doctor Dances for me, and those two are my favorite episodes of Who period.
