Alright finally got some time (and PC access). I assume the timeline for this is post-Dominion War/Nemesis?

Command: 40
Tactical: 40 (figure there's some Vets out there)
Engineering: 40 (again probably some SCE veterans)
Ops: 60 (a former Ops man is going to pick the best!)
Science: 20 (a lot of junior officers coming out of the academy)

Use a calculator, dude. You get 200 points to spend over the 5 departments, then add +10 to Ops. By my count you used 255 (+ 10.)

My mistake. I misread how the points were set up. I think this should work better.

Also I'm curious what sort of things fall under the purview of Command and Ops, particularly if Command doesn't refer to the capabilities of the captain which seems to be a separate thing. Are they proxies for helm and sensors respectively? Something to do with away teams or blanket bonuses due to better first and second officers?
