Well there's light at the end of the tunnel. It's starting to become more clear that the days are getting longer. I just got home from a trip out at 5:30 local time and it's still light out (which it wouldn't have been in the middle of January). This weekend this area has enjoyed a respite from the hard winter with unseasonably warm temps in the low 50s Fahrenheit (spelled that without a dictionary ) though it will get cooler in the coming week again.
So I took advantage of the nice weather and saw RoboCop today.

It was 34 degrees C here today, which I think it around 95F. Did the Tongarero crossing, which is rated the worlds best 1 day walk, its across a mountain range (Mount Doom in the Lord of the Rings) and I did it in short and Tshirt.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Yeah, the days are longer and it was in the mid-40s here. Man, I'm glad it's finally starting to turn the corner.

Enjoying the longer temperatures but the temperatures are averaging about 7 degrees c which is about 44 Fahrenheit. It's also been ridiculously wet.

I guess I can no longer think myself as youthful anymore.

Happy birthday, McAvoy. And you're not old, you're simply a little less young.
