Possible line?

Is it just me, or are the Vipers from the Caprica tv series AWFULLY similar to our own jets and planes? I know that these are SUPPOSED to be our "brothers and sisters" in space.....literally. But still.....

Weak points on the nacelles

More of a Bomber...

Passable

But as we have said, the Trek universe is not Fighter friendly. No one makes them for a reason, they hold no purpose. Even medium sized ships are agile enough to void any agility positive a fighter could give, while still having higher powered weapons. FIghters simply cant pack the punch needed to be worth while. Also when they go snap crackle and pop, as they will due to their inherently weak armor and shields, you lose a highly qualified pilot. And Trek and the Federation seems to loath drone crafts, which I cant blame them for.

Hey these aren't MY designs okay? They're from a site: Starship Schematic Database. And you HAVE to remember that there is at least 300 - 400 years of Star Trek history to look through here.
