Wedding was awesome. Danced Gangnam Style, had a blast. The bride modified the 'one Ring to rule them all' line for the ring exchange and danced to a Dragon Age II song for her first dance with her husband.

I take it the bride is a nerd then?

Both bride and groom. And the wedding party, and most of the guests...

Most? So what did the rest of them think?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:most of the guests...
Congratulations to the happy couple.

That's pretty cool. I doubt I could pull that off if I wanted to.

Nice shot, Jon.
I just got back yesterday from 10 days in Canada. I don't recall; have any of us DITL'ers gotten together before? If not, this would be the first.

Well the closest person to me would be Mikey.
On the flip side the two times I have met up with someone from a forum I got lucky. But none of you are my type.

Sorry, was in Canada in 2011. Novascotia, specifically Halifax. Stunning scenery, will have to go back.Tsukiyumi wrote:Nice shot, Jon.

I wasnt a fan of Halifax, although it was the coldest day ever when I was there.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

CPH and Bob and I ended up meeting in NYC one day. But I think that's about it.

The exact opposite for us. We'ed just come from Greenland and iceberg dodging and Halifax was a glorious summers day. T-shirts and everything. 8)Teaos wrote:I wasnt a fan of Halifax, although it was the coldest day ever when I was there.
