Re: Star Trek Online (F2P)
I just blew about a million credits in the xchange and now my away team is blowing them away. A few high end gattling guns and blast canons along with a new high end grenade tactical kit for me... the DPS is insane.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I don't think I've ever reached a million EC. I've spent all my time in fleet engagements and largely ignored anything over 200k to buy.

Re: Star Trek Online (F2P)
Just finished the Cardassian Story arc, by far hte best so far adn very enjoyable, only one boring mission in the lot with good gear drops and some really fun battles. The last mission is the fleet that disapeared in the wormhole in the Dominion war reapears and you get dropped right in the middle of it, have to take out a few dreadnoughts and battleships. Finally a challenge.

Just now starting to play the story missions on the KDF side. I find that the UFP ships tend too go pop very easily. I'd have thought they'd be a game counter to the BOPs... but oh was I wrong. I can kill a fed ship ever 8 seconds or so.

Even at lvl 20 with the BOP, fed ships weren't very tough. They are extremely over reliant on shields and just cracking a shield facing followed up with a torp volley and poof!

Re: Star Trek Online (F2P)
Finished the Borg arc which was honestly a bit boring. The ground battles wer hard since they adapt to energy weapons every 10 seconds. But the space battles were a joke and only 5 missions with average drops. The Breen missions though are awesome.

Just so you know, you can replicate a ground item that allows you to cycle your frequency. That way the Borg don't stay adapted.

Re: Star Trek Online (F2P)
Finished the Undine missions which were hard but boring, a let down considering the Breen ones were pretty fun.
Now going to go do some fleet battles and do some other aspects of the game. Any suggestions?
