Just got the Ambassador. I really don't like cruisers. Escorts FTW.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

You have to learn the use of cruisers before you can have fun with them. I prefer them due to their broadside ability.

I prefer the power and agility of the escort, with my escort with three forward facing Torpedo tubes and three back mounted turrets that fire 360 I can usaully come in first in most fleet battles, in my cruiser I'm lucky to take out a few corvetts.

My cruiser runs 3 arrays 1 QTL aft with 3 dual arrays 1 QTL forward. But it means I get a nice wall of fire flying at all times.

I love the versatility of turrets. Great for shooting down fighters even if you can't see them. Have auto fire on and get throw up a wall of fire.

Yeah I have auto fire on everything. Burst torps are also great for fighters.

I prefer Science... nothing beats completely shutting down an opponent for 30 seconds (grav well + viral matrix + shield sapping tractors).

I use a lot of Science/Engineer traits for my ship. I get stuck in some sort of shut down or take heavy damage and use a Voy styled reset button combo. Back to full health and shields and then just turn back to face my targets. Truth is a combo of ships works best. A sci-ship to weaken, a cruiser to tank and an escort to strafe.

I just got an intrepid and I gotta say I'm loving it, a very well balanced ship.

The later Ambassador refit is great, it gives incredible ability for a ship that is free.

Trying out a few of the ground combat team missions. The temple one is great and I got some great items when I came in second. The away team chews threw land missions now.

Ground missions are very much like WoW but with lazer ray guns thingys. But they are best in groups you can co-op your engagements. Speaking of which I am logging on now.

How far are you guys in the story lines? Im half way through the Romulan one and it is starting to get hard, the D'Deridex hit hard, 6 high yeild plasma weapons can rip through almost anything.
