I notice walking around that it is quite often the smallest dogs that start shit with the big ones. I almost wish their owners let them get curb stomped once, it would shut them up.

In other news, I just discovered that my cable service/ISP has free eps of Firefly online. I just spent the last 45 minutes watching "War Stories" - it was the best time I ever had folding laundry. BTW, while I think Whedon's work swings wildly between highs and lows, Firefly seems to me to be the almost perfect combination of writing, backstory, and casting in a TV series. Even the mediocre production values can't take anything away from it. I could spend three hours just writing about the ep I just watched.

God damn it, I still havent been able to watch a whole epsiode of Firefly, Tsu was trying to talk me into it over Christmas, but something about it just rubs me the wrong way.

I got the Firefly boxset, despite knowing nothing about it. I got hooked pretty much instantly.

It rocks. I actually started with Serenity (the film) in the theater, and then went back and watched the series. I felt like a tool for having skipped it when it first aired.
