Just a bit busy at the mo. We moved out of our old house just after xmas and have been working on it since then. We've now painted all bar the hall, that's 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms a 5m x 5m living room and a kitchen / diner / conservatory. Given it's three floors high the hall is quite large. Lots of filling and sanding and making good. Still it will be worth it when we rent it. Still a week or two to go yet...

Neat or rocks is appropriate for whiskey... as far as martinis, there should never even be a question of whether to serve one up or on rocks. The last time I ordered a martini and the bartender asked if I wanted it on the rocks, I was so confused I didn't even register the question. I think my answer went, "On the rocks? No, I'd like a martini."
Jameson's neat. I don't drink martinis.

Scotch neat. Except it gives me a migraine.

I recommend the Invasion, the War Games and the Mind Robber. And even though it's from the Third Doctor's era, the Three Doctors. Pertwee and Troughton play off each other wonderfully!
I requested the Invasion, and the War Games. I was going to request all of them, but if they all came in at once I would be screwed.

You won't be disappointed. :)

Okay, went to Funspot in Laconia yesterday. A bunch of my friends had their birthdays in February and March so we went up there. it's three floors and a combo video arcade/video arcade museum. They've got a Pong cabinet from 1975. It works, too! To paraphrase a review I read about a Youtube video it nostalgiaed the fuck out of me. :D

About 2:30 my friend Isaac started playing a ticket-dispensing version of Frogger and aimed for a 10,000-ticket iPod. We all decided to help him out and eventually got 12,980 tickets. 8) He got the iPod and a stuffed squid. It was glorious!
