It comes in a bottle now? :?
*ahem* Anyway, I do enjoy Jameson's but believe it or not, I don't think I've ever tasted Bushmill's.

To hell with Ian Fleming - there should never be an option for a martini to be stirred. Stirring is for drinks with muddled herbs or fruit juice.

You'll have what neat? Irish whiskey, or a martini? Neat or rocks is appropriate for whiskey... as far as martinis, there should never even be a question of whether to serve one up or on rocks. The last time I ordered a martini and the bartender asked if I wanted it on the rocks, I was so confused I didn't even register the question. I think my answer went, "On the rocks? No, I'd like a martini."

I understand Simpson's in the Strand is quite nice for a traditional roast dinner or the like... however, you should probably wait to hear from someone who lives near (or has been to) London before taking my advice.

Okay, thank you. I shall look into that any way, and see if anyone else has any suggestions. Cheers :-)
