You're the Admiral?
I've been thinking and I would like to run a roleplay time thing. The basic premise is that I would give scenarios and other people would post their responces to said scenarios. For example, The Destruction of the Odyssey. I have a map of the Alpha quadrant that we can use and some ideas for scenarios. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in this.

You mean something like Deeps' Spec OPs thing (Link), but for Star Trek?

Yeah, I suppose.
Re: You're the Admiral?
Would there be any sort of mechanics behind it or would it simply be you looking at a suggestion and going “Yeah, that seems reasonable” or “Yeah, there's no way that'd work” and such?
Anyway, I like the sound of it, though I’d probably make Janeway look competent.

Are we talking logistics and fleet movements and fleet combat on a strategic level?

Basically, you would decide various things:
#What type of ships to build
#Where to move ships
#Where to attack
#Whether to construct a starbase or not
Things like that. I wasn't really going to judge it, more just interested in peoples different responses. However, you could critique each others responses.

Well there needs to be some form of judgement to allow for testing of answers. Otherwise, its just a "your fav fleet" question.alexmann wrote:Basically, you would decide various things:

So when can we get this Admiral thing going and what kind of details can you share about it?
