I'm not an atheist, and I don't get her reasoning either.

I'm not entirely sure which denomination she is, one of the Christian ones... I would guess Catholic as there seems to be a lot around here, but really not sure... But I have friends of a lot of religions, and she's the only one that seems to find my beliefs a contradiction... maybe she just has several screws loose or something

Well, maybe I should introduce the people I work with to you guys, they all think I'm extremely insane, for various reasons I'm pretty certain they'd see me as less insane if they met some of you guys.

Yes, insurance plans don't taste very good with scallions and chili oil.

Basically, rice noodles in broth with spices and veggies... if meat is included, it's usually just sliced almost carpaccio-thin and then just cooked on top of the noodles by pouring the hot broth over it.
