Haha, this is very true. I shall let her know that tomorrow :-) At least its not just me, thought maybe I'd missed something. Cheers y'all for confirming my sanity (well, near enough).
I'm pretty sure you're no less sane than anyone else on this forum, although that may not be saying much...

I'm not entirely sure which denomination she is, one of the Christian ones... I would guess Catholic as there seems to be a lot around here, but really not sure... But I have friends of a lot of religions, and she's the only one that seems to find my beliefs a contradiction... maybe she just has several screws loose or something :-)

Well, maybe I should introduce the people I work with to you guys, they all think I'm extremely insane, for various reasons :-) I'm pretty certain they'd see me as less insane if they met some of you guys.

Hence the creation of Chuck Norris facts! On Chuck Norris' driver's license, he has a special spot under the spot for "doner" that reads: " I'm Chuck Norris and I'll be providing the hospital with thousands of organs from other donors."
Chuck Norris will never die. Because when he does, he'll find Bruce Lee up there, ready, willing and able to kick his ass from pillar to post. !ouch)

Chuck Norris died twenty years ago, Death just hasn't worked up the courage to tell him yet.

A bowl of pho with green onions and a healthy shot of chili oil is a phenomenal mood-enhancer.

Damn right.

We'll see in a few hours, though, when those super-high glycemic rice noodles start to digest. Some things are worth it, though.

It's either a type of Vietnamese noodle soup, usually served with beef or chicken, or a private health organistion. I'm guessing the first one.

Yes, insurance plans don't taste very good with scallions and chili oil.

Basically, rice noodles in broth with spices and veggies... if meat is included, it's usually just sliced almost carpaccio-thin and then just cooked on top of the noodles by pouring the hot broth over it.

Has it ever been suggested that we have a forum meet up in real life? Someplace in the UK (ie a pub back room that has wifi) where British & Irish members can meet and we could skype to our forum buddies from around the world all in one big happy family?
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

This sounds like a plan. Make it so ;-)
