Don't forget the Last Centurion. Flattening the Doctor and asking questions of the Cybermen certainly helped, but that's what really elevated Rory far above Ace. Taking on a Dalek with a baseball bat was badass. Waiting for his fiancée for two thousand years is far beyond that.

I'll admit Rory's surpassed her, yes. I just like Ace more. 'Remembrance' is my favorite Who serial of all time. And it's the one I remembered most from watching the series on PBS. Also,
