Oops, mistyped a bit: it's Claritin and I get generic OTC for a reasonable price at ShopRite.

Wnet shopping with my mother today. My birthday's coming up in a couple of weeks and as usual, she needs a bit of help with what to get me.

Well, that's a nice way to make sure you end up with something you like!

I get what you mean. One of my sisters is especially different: I have a degree in engineering, she's almost done with one in film.

Those are some rather divergent paths, yes. :)

Well, it was a Doctor Who DVD and a gift card this time 'round.

Fuck. I'm going to have to take the moped to the nearest mechanic to try and get something fixed. It seems me hitting the deck has done some pretty cooky stuff to the drive system and it's getting close to unridable. Sudden loss of thrust, difficulty revving, reluctance to start. Ugh, an expense I could be doing without right now.

Really? Being slammed and slid on the pavement is bad for mechanical systems? I'm as baffled as you are, K. ;)

Well yes, but it hasn't done anything catastrophic :P Until now. I just really can't afford it atm. But It's nigh on dangerous and I need to get it running to sell it on to someone.

What an interesting thought there, Mikey! I had no idea something could happen if you did that!

I kid, I kid! ;) Hope you can get it fixed, Reliant.

And in other news, my mother will have a cataract removed the first Wednesday of November and a cornea transplant the first Wednesday of December.

Same here. Next you'll be telling us that the thing actually needs oil! :o

I just assisted my neighbour to remove her father's car from a wall. He must have thought it looked nice and mounted it (only a smallish wall). It was rather funny, most of the girls just stood around laughing at him and one filming it, took about twenty minutes to move it, and its bloody freezing in just a vest. Last week it was sweltering.

I've got my baby waiting for me. Honda VT 125, a surprisingly big looking learner legal cruiser.

After that I'll have a licence. I'll be aiming for something like a Kawasaki Vulcan 900

I like cruisers but out of sheer principle I refuse to buy a Harley since everyone buys one. Besides, they have a reputation over here of not being built very well; A Victory maybe.

As for the change in weather, It's suddenly become freezing over here after the pseudo-indian summer came along.
