Won't help. A typical cup of joe has approx. 100 - 150 mg of caffeine... maybe up to 200 mg for a lighter roast. A typical OTC caffeine pill has 200 mg. Not enough of a change to make it worthwhile, and the act of drinking the coffee rather than popping a pill helps dull the systemic impact and makes a person far less likely to be tempted toward dangerous amounts.

And the last part of it is my exact argument.

#1 - I know it wasn't helping. When I introduced myself, I don't think I ever claimed I was anything like "nice" or "helpful."

#2 - Keep your eyes open. Sometimes the help we need - and get - doesn't resemble the help we want.

Yeah, why I stay up with her at night so she can sleep. Not always what she wants, but I usually get her to sleep by the morning for at least an hour or two, peacefully, something that is big for her for a lot of reasons.

I didn't mean "keep your eyes open" like that. I meant, don't necessarily discount the advice I gave just because it didn't look like the advice Z wanted.

Oh, I know, I was just taking a metaphor and applying it literally as well as metaphorically. She hates that I force her to sleep.

I love sleeping. Unfortunately it's partly because I'm generally bored and restless with little to do. :(

That's how I see it, though sleep is important for creativity and clarity of thought.

not really. some of my most awesome poems and ideas have come after a week of not sleeping...

though to be fair... I kinda can't sleep for the most part.... for other reasons then the fact that I am taking 18 credits

Yessss, I completely agree with this... and everyone else thinks I'm mad!

Although considering your lack of sanity, they maybe right :)
