No, it wasn't the timing cover. It's just at a different offset angle than I'm used to seeing.

Ah, yes. I have absolutely no idea why Honda decided to make the engine humpbacked. Maybe something to do with the position of the radiator? Who knows.

Nice bike. Second pic that is.

I will never ride a bike again because I destroyed my friend's bike and my back. Some asshole pulled out in front of me and I was quick enough to dodge but I slid the bike and myself. The pain of getting my roadrash brushed wasd enoiugh for me. Cost wasn't that bad since it was an older bike and he was going to sell it dirt cheap. But getting that roadrash cleaned felt like I they were brushing me with steel wire brushes.

I think it's very much about the route you take to get on a bike. I've had my off. Fortunately it didn't really damage me that bad but the bike is rather unhealthy. I think that to get back on a bike you've got to really love riding it, be determined to see it through. I simply don't have a choice. Besides, I love bikes.

Glad you like her. It's a poxy little engine but thats all I can legally ride due to learner restrictions and all that stuff. Still, looks good.

Hah, it can't even do 60. It has a limiter which makes it incapable of more than 32mph under UK law as I'm apparently not old enough to be trusted with anything faster. Even if it wasn't restricted it's a 50cc moped, it will only just hit 45mph.
That's what my little put-put does. 50cc moter (same as a riding lawn mower), with a second pully gets me up to 45 mph, top. Unless I'm going down a steep hill, thats the best my moped can hope for. And yes, you can totally lay one of those down very badly. Remember me breaking my right wrist two years ago? Then breaking my left one last year?

This is the main reason I can't wait to get on the Honda. Being much heavier and having its weight in a different place PLUS the much more stable tires means its very very hard to ditch a cruiser. Even a 125cc such as she is.

Well. That too. I'm joining a very small minority of guys in the carpark at college that have a proper motorbike and not a scooter. Although, my uniqueness is ruined since someone else has a Shadow like mine. an older, tatty one though.

Meh. Bob the tail, get a tricked out timing cover and trans cover, maybe chrome the oil tank. You'll have the butch boys all over you in no time.

Well, I pulled another til midnight shift, mom says I'm tearing myself apart by doing it, but I LOVE the work, it's amazing, it makes me feel so awake and energetic, even the next day.

Today I did wiring, by that I mean pulling about 50ft of wires through 4 different conduits, until getting it to the final insertion location, that was so incredibly hard to finish, but when I did it, I felt so incredible and very accomplished.

Well guys, I got another person to join. She'll be on when Ian puts her through, her name is Zahmbe, be kind of nice, although you don't have to be too nice, she can take it for the most part.

It's the internet... everybody is. ;)

In another news, I find myself wondering exactly which turn in my life has led me to have to use the phrase, "I have to get the dog out of the jacuzzi to get Meatball to the dojang."
