I think I've got one in the store room. At one point we ran our department on them. We had about 18 of them.
I wouldn't doubt it. The Kmart I worked at had some registers from the 1970's!

Blasted moped is proving problematic. Looks like the automatic choke either doesn't work or is just shockingly bad. It keeps cutting out everso often and takes forever to warm up.

Anything to do with the time you laid it down, maybe?

Possibly. We could replace the choke but we have no idea whether it is working as normal. I don't want to take it to a garage as they will just use the fact I came off as a way of voiding the warranty and I simply don't have the money.

There's a right nice big body panel scrape on one side, a massive great big chunk out the mud guard, the headlight panel is chewed on the right side and one of my break levers is pretty chewed. it's quite noticeable. :P

Ultimately, I'll just stick things out till I can get on the Honda.

Fortunately this isn't the new one, this is my little 16 year old runabout.

My new toy is healthy and tucked away under its blanket.

Shee-oot, man, I thought you were talking about a bike! How do you even lay one of those down... wouldn't your knee keep it off the pavement?

Hah, it can't even do 60. It has a limiter which makes it incapable of more than 32mph under UK law as I'm apparently not old enough to be trusted with anything faster. Even if it wasn't restricted it's a 50cc moped, it will only just hit 45mph.

Little bikes like that are actually a lot easier to put over. The tires are teeny and have almost no grip. They also wobble around almost uncontrollably in wind. The damn thing is lethal but I can't ride my proper bike (mine is the actual bike featured in the following pic):

Roll on 17 so I can get on something half decent.

Such as something with four walls and as many wheels?

At £3500to insure a 20 year old 1L, I think not. There is no way I could afford that, even with parental help and it doesn't really drop for another 3-4 years even with no claims. A bike is much cheaper and a damn sight more fun :P at least, at a decent engine size.

It's hidden under a chrome cover. My V-Twin is very much intact.
