I definitely will. I'll make sure they have the same (or as close as I can get) CR and mass as the ones you set up.

Indeed, this would be goodBigJKU316 wrote:Actually thinking on the issue...if the Tholians and Gorn want to design their own ships they might as well. If you want to let me know. I let the other custom races do it, since we have no info for those powers we can do it there too.

I've posted a background on my race, if anyone has any questions they can post them in the thread of PM them to me.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

When it comes to diplomacy and influence do we assign influence points like a resource?

Yes, you just assign them to each relationship and they get used up.

One thing to consider guys. Until I get everyone I am more or less stuck in this sim. Due dates will be more firm this time. If not you will be left where you were last year and rolled over.
If we can get all these in by noon my time on Sunday (US Central time) that would be great.

Re: Alpha V2 OOC Thread
Is that number representative of how many points we get per turn, or the total we have? (Basically, is it a use it or lose it system, or a stockpiling system?)BigJKU316 wrote:Yes, you just assign them to each relationship and they get used up.
Re: Alpha V2 OOC Thread
And how do we get more? ONLY by completing our "goals"?

Those points accrue each turn. The better you are doing the more you have each turn. it is use it or lose it though for each turn.

Simple enough.
Yeesh, why did every Romulan female go for the hyper aggressive page-boy haircut in TNG?

Re: Alpha V2 OOC Thread
That raises an interesting question for me. Do you think that the Romulans ever went through a period of "women's lib" like humans? Romulans seem pretty well established with an equlity of the sexes in Trek, even when Kirk was being his chuvinistic self on TOS.

Very good point. They've never shown any hint of that, but their Vulcan cousins have. TOS had them on a pedestal of sorts while they remained gender equal later on.

Re: Alpha V2 OOC Thread
Even if they aren't technologically that far ahead of humanity Vulcans have had a far longer time at the societal development level. I'd imagine they had a women's lib movement a few centuries to a millenia ago.
It's funny, there's like two female Romulans without the hair helmet.
