Well, one of my aunts is racist and she and another are homophobic.

I feel this sentiment, it sounds like my mom's side. Not so much my dad's side, because they are all just insane.

That' your family dark side? Dude, that's every family in America. You're just lucky that it's not the entire family.

It's disturbing for me, all right? And I don't know if other stuff may or may not crop up, but since there was no inkling before...

Well, today I spent a little bit with one of my very close female friends. It was an excellent time. We walked around a mall in the area for about 3 hours, which sounds really boring, but she's like my sister to me, so we talked a lot about life and stuff, lot to catch up on. It was great.

Hello folks, I'm back.

Being unemployed led to a down turn in mood and loss of interest in... well, pretty much everything.

Still am unemployed, but a few positive things happened, so my mood is up enough to say hi.

Yay for positivity! Oh, and I got another job up at the college, it's not a great paying one, however it's an IT job which means I can get experience. Our head lifeguard left today, which was sad, because she was pretty cool as a person, and she was useful as a head, she fought for us well. She's off to college, but she gave me a really nice card for being early and helping out, as well as giving me her contact information so she can be used for recommendations, which is wonderful for me, since she always gave me wonderful personal reviews to me personally, so I'm sure to others she spoke highly of me, as well as defending my reputation from anyone who wanted to defame me, which made me feel great quite often.

Good to have you back, Stitch! We're all rooting for you!

I went to a local swimming hole here called Whiskey Flat, here in Paradise, CA. You need a 4x4 to even think of getting down to it, but the river water is cold enough to make your legs ache, and the scenery is beautiful. Luckily, my Dodge was up to the job, and there were wild blackberries growing nearby, so the kids had some snacks already there. Of course, getting to them is another matter. I hate thorns!

Things are looking a bit unstable at the moment. The foster carers that dad supervises are leaving the company like birds flying south for winter and the management are on tenderhooks. There may be some redundancies made soon to allow the company to continue turning a profit. I simply hope that dad has proved himself a worthy employee to remain.

I've only been driving my own car for about a year. I miss having it when its being worked on.

This is why I love cricket: England (201-8) beat Ireland (117-8) by 11 runs.

Well, the patio furniture is all stowed or tied down and we're stocked up on water and batteries. Ian, are you sure you want to arrive in NYC on Sunday?
