Don't deny yourself; just remember to allot time to studies as well as to partying.

I got Ancient History of Western Civilizations, Alegbra 2, College English and Orientation to Engineering class. Yes I am going to attempt at Engineering. The History class is an elective that was literally a coin toss between that and Medeval Europe.

This is being paid by the GI Bill. Free room & board, books and tuitition. I am looking at this as a job that instead of turning a wrench for ten hours a day, I am learning for 2 hours in class and whatever I can squeeze between the beer drinking.

Anyone would like to tell me what to expect? Recommendations? Tips?
Go to Class and Office Hours whenever possible. Most professors don't want to fail anyone, and if you go and pay attention it's laid out for you to succeed.

IDK... she's only 6 so it's hard to tell, but based on her prior activities I'd say she's strictly a rightie. ;) Her tee-ball team rotated each kid but if I had to guess I'd say she'd end up at second or third. I know what she'd prefer, put softball doesn't have a DH.

Also, yesterday was our trip to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. The kids were able to touch stingrays, cownose rays, bamboo sharks, smooth dogfish, sea stars, a sea cucumber, prawns, moon jellies, and a giant isopod. There was a walk-through glass tunnel through a tank with silky sharks, nurse sharks, shark rays (aka bowmouth guitarfish,) black-tipped sharks, and some sand sharks, and there was even a giant pacific octopus. My daughter also surveyed the seals and proceeded to lecture me about sexual dimorphism in pinnipeds. The family of Eagles fans nearby got scared and hurried away. :)

Forgive the mini-multi posts. Im at the hospital with my gma and I'm using my iPod which has a very small screen and it's tough to use for the forums.

Seems to be doing well, most likely just worked to hard around her house. Running a house a 91 is a tough deal.

Well its not so much a matter of recovery, she's just 91 years old and still takes care of herself. She's being released in the afternoon tomorrow.

Got a call from my friend. She got offered a promotion at work and accepted it. :)

Also, I got paid today. Forgot my annual raise kicked in and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm finishing up getting moved into my new place for school this year. It's a really nice building, though my roommates may be a bit off.

I managed to get myself a job! Not massive pay at around £5.50 an hour and I only do weekends (about 6 hours a week) but it's a start, with lots of opportunities for bank holiday/overtime/christmas pay which I'll get time 1/2 for. Plus I can transfer to a much bigger store if I want to do evenings.
