From what I hear, the Chinese sealed the hull (because the original seals didn't work and the hull had to be pumped constantly to prevent sinking) and even put it in the water!
So much for solid, reliable Russian engineering.

Same thing here too in Virginia Beach. I used to have three hard rock stations playing between the classics to current. Over the last nine years one station became a sports station which does bug me that much though some can put me to sleep. The last one was turned into a teenie-bopper station.

We have all of one alternative/hard rock station here in Houston. We had a second one for a few months, but it folded pretty quick.

It's student introduction week in the city where I study. One day has passed and already my feet are complaining I am pushing things too much in my rather zealous bid to get new members for my choir. This is going to be a tough, though very rewarding week.
Starting college on Thursday. I have to seriously catch up with Math. I am lucky I still know how to add and subtract. So I am far, far behind in Math. I am expecting either retards or older guys like me in the classes.
I got Ancient History of Western Civilizations, Alegbra 2, College English and Orientation to Engineering class. Yes I am going to attempt at Engineering. The History class is an elective that was literally a coin toss between that and Medeval Europe.
This is being paid by the GI Bill. Free room & board, books and tuitition. I am looking at this as a job that instead of turning a wrench for ten hours a day, I am learning for 2 hours in class and whatever I can squeeze between the beer drinking.
Anyone would like to tell me what to expect? Recommendations? Tips?
